WV6846 : Le Hocq Tower

Le Hocq Tower
The Jersey Round Tower on the headland was just one of many around the coast to protect the island from French invasion.
They were built (1776-1783) when the French were allies of the Americans fighting for their independence.
Viewed from the slipway at the end of the Rue de Jambert.
