WV5947 : Ouaisné Tower
Ouaisné Tower
Also known as St Brelade's Tower number 1, this tower, built about 1780, is one of the 31 towers built about that time for the defence of Jersey (24 still stand). The tower serves as a navigation mark, hence the red and white markings on the seaward side.
