Round tower on St Aubin's Bay
Round tower on St Aubin's Bay
The round tower is one of 31 (of which 24 remain) built at the end of the 18th/beginning of the 19th century for the defence of Jersey. Often referred to as Martello towers, but true Martello towers are of a more squat design.
