Esplanade is a street in the centre of St. Helier.

The bus terminus is to the right. Most buses stop within the terminus building, but it was only designed for single-deck buses. Double-deck buses have to stay out on the street as they are too high to get into the terminus building.

The island of Sark is renowned for being traffic-free. Only tractors and horse-drawn vehicles are permitted on the island.

Nevertheless, there is a bus service which operates up and down the steep hill which connects the village, around 100 metres above sea level, with the harbour. The bus is a trailer pulled by a tractor.
