Martello Tower and headland
A view from the corner of L'Ancresse Bay showing the Martello Tower at Banque a Barque. Here the rock outcrop is the pink-coloured L'Ancresse Granodiorite of Cadomian age, whereas the northern-eastern tip of the island is the grey diorite. German fortifications are also in evidence.
