WV5548 : La Sergente passage grave

La Sergente passage grave
La Sergente passage grave
The Neolithic passage grave was built around 6,500 years ago.
The passage and circular chamber were paved with granite slabs.
From the 1923 excavations of the mound it is thought the chamber had a corbelled roof.
four pottery vessels were found inside, but no obvious human remains.
