WV7149 : Gorey Pier

Gorey Pier
Gorey Pier
The old pier was rebuilt between 1815 and 1817 costing £16,000.
It was extended in 1890 to serve French ferries, which were much smaller than they are today.
Only small craft and yachts use the harbour these days.
