GeoGraph - photograph every grid square

More about me

Despite only discovering geograph in Dec 09, I was instantly hooked. A lifelong photographer, the project has rekindled my desire to take photos. I am filling out my local squares, as well as delving into my photo archive. Sundays are now “A walk into the middle of nowhere to take some photos”.

March 2010: I have just completed my first hectad, SP25, which is my home hectad with 100 land squares. SP25 comprises the valley of the River Avon and is predominately agricultural land. It has 11 gridsquares with only footpath access [[[1741067]]] 17 gridsquares with the River Avon in [[[1666379]]] 12 gridsquares with the River Dene in [[[1640891]]] 3 gridsquares with the River Stour in [[[1735964]]] and 13 gridsquares with the route of the dismantled Stratford and Midland Junction Railway running through them [[[1693966]]]

SP24 comprises the valley of the River Stour, running down to the northern fringe of the Cotswolds, and is predominately agricultural land. It has 6 gridsquares with only foot access [[[1786038]]] 21 gridsquares with the River Stour in [[[1727375]]] 19 gridsquares with the route of the dismantled Stratford and Moreton Tramway in [[[1884239]]]
2 gridsquares with Gloucestershire in them [[[1946438]]] and 15 gridsquares with the Fosse Way in them [[[1701944]]]
